Archery0

Wow, been a long time since I’ve posted.

Since then I still am in Archery, but no longer In J.O.A.D. The club was canceled about a year ago so since then I have been practicing at Skookum archery range (which is a really nice club), and at a 4-H club that I belong to. I am also helping out our leader at 4-H with some kids that have just started there.

I have been with the 4-H group since about the same time we left the J.O.A.D group.

But anyway that’s all for now.

The Begining0

Wow, it has been such a long time with lots of things going on, so I haven’t exactly had time to write speaking its been raining, and wet, and cold… But now that it’s pre summer I have and will start working on it again.

Just a few days ago, I gutted out the car because of mold problems PLUS I needed to clean it out because i have a mould problems, so, hopefully I don’t need to replace all of everything in the car like, for example, the carpet this person who owned this car did not take very good care of it, but then again for a 12 year old car, who can blame them. The funniest part of the whole thing was that i found at least 3$ in coin money in the car.

But hey, for a 600$ car that if I wanted to make run, thats not bad. :D

Also sure its going to cost but I could most likely put it back together as a GAS car for about 250$. But what I’m rely looking forward to doing is turn it into a electric car. Though the price is extraordinary it will probbobly cost me about… 3000$ just for the batteries! + an extra 1000$ for an electric motor and then another 1000$ for the controller. so that + any other expenses, which I’ll say is about 500$ = 5500$! But in the end its all worth it because you don’t need: Oil changes, Exaust emissions tests, Etc. Etc. all you pretty much the only thing that still needs an occasional check is your tires! and maybe after 3 to 5 years. But think about it it’s 3.29$ a gallon of gas… You get where I’m going.

Well thats about the all for now.

We went…0

We went to the E(xperience)M(usic)P(roject) and had wonderful time. We odserved the many types of art forms and collections that they had to offer. Then you can also buy a ticket to the Sci-fi museum that is literally next door. They had a collection that all you could only say wow too. It was fun, and hopefully I’ll go again soon to see what I missed.

More archery.0

We went to J.O.A.D. on Monday and boy was that fun! The J(unoior).O(limpic).A(rchery).D(evelopment). And 4-H program on archery lets you shoot at 30 meters (I have no clue how far that is in feet) which is quite close compared to 75 métiers which is so far away that you need a pair of binoculars to see were the arrow hit the buttress! (target) I shoot a 36 pound (full draw) bow with three arrows a round and did 21 arrow shots. So I pulled, 36 X 21 = 756 pounds! Well… I don’t pull the string back to its full capacity so I probably only pulled around 500 pounds. But still that’s a lot!

Well…0

Well now I can’t work on my car because winds and rain rule the roost for now so… I really got nothing to do. But that’s OK. I’m working on archery now so that’ll take its place till summer. But if anyone has any questions I’ll gladly answer them for you.

Archery.1

Well I just got my limbs (arms of bow) for my riser (middle of bow) today. Now I need string and what is called a stringer, (which takes and allows me to put the string on the bow.) finger guard, and arm guard. Once I get those things I’ll then be ready to shoot.

If you got any questions go ahead and ask. I’ll try to reply to the best of my knowledge.

I FINALLY GOT MY CAR!!!0

Well I finally got my 1995 Infiniti G20 4dr. Sedan, yesterday I sat in it and cleaned the grease off the steering wheel for two hours with just Saddle soap! It needs some work inside, a new seat belt and some trim that goes around the door frame. But other then that, I got my-self a car. (After I finish if paying it off that is.)

Whew!0

Wow! I didn’t realize how long I haven’t wrote in this. Well sorry all. Anyway, well today I just got my 1995 Infiniti G20 4dr and well it was quite hassle we first have to drive about 2 hours to get there then we have to dig it out of aboult 2 feet of snow and drive it all the way back to were I live. When we tried to put it on our sloped driveway, it took and died in the middle of the road. Thank god it wasnt in on a busy roadway because it took almost 2 minuits to start it up.nd drive it up the walkway.

Well now all I need to do is get a head gasket and the water pump from my dad’s car adn I’ll be good to go in gas terms. But for electric… that’s another story i need alot of money to start that.

Do I have to have a certain car for an EV?1

EV’s are nice, inexpencive and clean, but for all you’re getting, what’s the catch? The catch is: you can’t have any car you want. You have to have a car that’s relatively arodynamic, light and with lots of room for battries. (Lets face it you can’t just use your mother’s old VW bug in the back yard.) I mean, I am getting an Infinity G20 and that is pushing the weight limit. The people at the club think that Geo Metros work perfectly, because its just perfect weight, enough room for batteries, (speaking you have to put 10 of them in the car) and not bad arodynamics. You probobly know why heavy cars don’t work. When the batteries are put in, it can add up to 600 pounds! Plus the motor AND the controler. So, the Metro is 1,700 pounds so add 600 pounds + the motor which weighs about (rough estemet) 250 that = 2550 pounds that those batteries have to pull. Well, that’s the end of my lecture. ‘Till tomorow,
Dino
